The Spirit of Vitara

To give generously.

Vitara is more than a heated yoga studio. It is a practice of breath, heat, intentional movement, community, and shared life force — a place where energy is awakened, cultivated, and offered back.

Breath / Heat / Community

A space for strength, healing, growth, and connection.

Vitara exists to help people move energy through the body, reconnect with themselves, and share that energy generously with the world.

What Vitara Means

Energy is not meant to be held.

Vitara takes its name from the Sanskrit word “Vitara” — to give generously. We believe this is the true nature of life force: it flows through us, nourishes us, and is meant to be shared.

Through breath, heat, and intentional movement, we awaken and cultivate our own life force so we can heal, expand, and offer our energy generously to the world.

Generosity is our foundation. Movement is how we practice it.
The spirit of Vitara is rooted in sharing energy, holding space, and giving with presence.
Tree of Life

Rooted. Rising. Giving back.

Our Tree of Life symbol reflects the heart of the Vitara philosophy. A tree receives strength through its roots, rises toward the sky, and gives back continuously — oxygen, shade, growth, and renewal.

Rooted A practice grounded in breath, heat, presence, and the body.
Rising A space for growth, strength, healing, and expansion.
Giving Back A community built to share energy generously beyond the studio.
Our Values

The principles that shape the room.

Vitara’s values guide how we teach, how we gather, how we welcome people into the studio, and how we extend our impact beyond our walls.

01 / Generosity

Generosity of Spirit

We give with our time, energy, care, and presence. We share knowledge, hold space with open hearts, and extend impact beyond our walls.

02 / Authenticity

Authenticity

Teachers are encouraged to share their own voice, experience, and style. Students are supported in showing up as they truly are.

03 / Community

Community

We cultivate a space where people feel welcomed, seen, and supported, and where relationships grow naturally.

04 / Accessibility

Accessibility

Movement and healing should be available to more people. Our offerings, programs, and partnerships help expand access locally and globally.

05 / Growth

Growth

We believe in steady, sustainable growth — in our bodies, our teaching, and our lives. We encourage curiosity and evolution.

06 / Compassion

Compassion

We lead with kindness toward ourselves, each other, and the wider world.

Why Vitara Feels Different

More than a class. A whole-room experience.

The philosophy becomes real through the way the room feels: heat, light, teacher voice, community energy, and diverse movement styles under one roof.

Heat

Intentional Heat

A heated room designed to support strength, sweat, release, and recovery.

Voice

Teacher Presence

Each teacher brings personality, lived experience, authenticity, and care.

Community

Real Connection

Students are welcomed as people, not just bodies on mats.

Movement

Many Paths

Power, Sculpt, Core, Slow Power, Yin, Nidra, Pilates-inspired practice, and recovery-focused classes.

Our Vision

Growth, belonging, and positive impact.

To build a community-centered studio that nurtures growth, belonging, and positive impact — locally and globally.

Our Mission

Movement, healing, authenticity, and connection.

Our mission is to create a welcoming space where people can explore many paths of movement and healing under one roof, while honoring each teacher’s unique voice and style.

Studio Details

Kindness is part of the practice.

The details in the studio reflect the spirit of the room: humility, warmth, generosity, and care. These are not decorative ideas — they are how we aim to move through the practice and through community.
