Before your first class.

Is hot yoga okay if I am new?

Yes. Start with a class that matches your comfort level, take breaks whenever needed, and listen to your body throughout class.

Which class should I take first?

Vitara Slow Power, Vitara Yin, or Vitara Power to Yin are usually the best starting points for new students.

How hot is the room?

The room is heated for a true hot yoga experience. Hydrate before class, bring water, and take breaks whenever you need them.

What should I bring?

Bring a water bottle. Water is provided. Bring a mat if you have one, or borrow an in house mat for free.

Do I need to be flexible?

No. Yoga is not about already being flexible. It is about building strength, mobility, breath, and presence over time.

Can I take breaks during class?

Absolutely. Resting is part of the practice. You can sit, pause, or take child’s pose whenever you need.

How early should I arrive?

Plan to arrive at least 10-15 minutes before your first class so you have time to check in and get comfortable.
